Horrible battery life on iPod Touch after 4.0 update?

Does anyone have really bad battery life after the 4.0 update for the iPod? I sit it down for 8 hours or so, and before the update, I would be perfectly fine, but now it’s down below 20%, and it pisses me off. I have tried turning off the wifi, and what not, but nothing seems to work? Should I bring it into Apple? I was told by Apple Care that Apple would be able to replace my iPod, but I don’t know. Maybe if I wait it out, it’ll correct itself. Any ideas?
I’ve already restored it… What is a Battery Cycle?

I’d restore it first then do a battery cycle charge and if that fails then just take it to an Apple store

Open system preferences and click on Sharing. Enable Remote Management, and near the top click on Computer Settings, and check VNC viewers may control screen with password. Enter a password, and use that.
