transfer songs from ipod shuffle to computer

Moving itunes library to new computer without old one?

I have an Ipod shuffle. I bought a new computer to replace my dead one. How can I move my entire library to the new one, if the old computer is dead and gone. I threw it away once it wouldn’t even turn on. Trust me, the old computer was dead!

At the very least, if I have lost the library from the old one, how can I transfer the songs that are already on the ipod to my new computer?
Wouldn’t I need my old computer for a flash drive? The old computer is gone, and I never copied my library onto any disks or anything.

Attach your IPod to computer… go to “My Computer” right click the Ipod…go to properties…unhide….(skip this step if yours doesn’t disappear…). Next. Double click your IPod icon and see the folders…click Tools..Folder Options…and go to the “View Tab” check the box to show hidden files or folders.
Now when you have the IPod open on your computer you will have more files than before…namely the ITunes Music Folder… This will have several folders in it and inside those is your music. Just copy all the folders to your new computer and and the folder to ITunes.

hello $$$$$$$$,
Here is a tips to tell you how to do that. The process is transfer old iPod files to computer first, then add them to iTunes and sync with new iPod.
If you have only one computer, the process should be:
Step1: Download iPod to iPod transfer software.
Step2: Plug your old iPod to computer.
Step3: Run iPod to iPod software
Step4: Choose where you want to backup your IPod music on your computer or other flash disk, then click transfer.
Step5: Add these backup to your iTunes.
Step6: Connect your new iPod to the computer and sync with iTunes, and then you can get everything on your iPod.

Notice: If you have two computers and want to backup your iTunes, you can use iTunes backup software first.

You can also download a iPod to iPod software to help you do that.

I to receive an iPod and want songs from two computers, but can synchronize a. If you enable disk use on iPod (Apple's article here on how to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1478) You can store music files on your iPod (which are usually stored in a folder called iTunes music in a folder named iTunes in your My Music folder). Open your iPod through my computer, then copy the music on it. You can not play that way, but you can carry for your team you want to synchronize with your iPod. Once you've copied all the music, disconnect the iPod and connect to the computer that you want to synchronize with. Open your new iPod with my computer and copy music on your computer. Then open iTunes and import the songs in your library (import options on the File menu in iTunes). Then just sync your iPod and your good to go!
