My computer won’t let me download iTunes, can someone please help?

I tried to download iTunes because I just got the new iPod shuffle (I’m still waiting for it to come in the mail), but it’s saying that the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed, or that my computer is in Safe Mode. I turned Safe Mode off, and I updated Windows Installer. What do I do? A while back I got a major virus and ever since we cleared it from our computer, we haven’t been able to install almost anything. Can someone please help?

Try uninstalling Quicktime and iTunes.
Go to iTunes site and download it, reinstall it.
That should do it.

iPod Nano Won’t Turn On/Respond?

(I have a 2nd Generation Nano.)
It wasn’t set to hold, it didn’t respond when I tried to charge it, and I followed the instructions in the help manual.
STILL WON’T WORK.
I didn’t drop it or anything (although that has happened before), I left it on a table and when I picked it up again, it won’t work.
Help?

Well Mine Froze between Screens and they told Me to Hold BOTH the Center and Menu Buttons at the SAME time and it will Restart itself after that it worked fine for me…
