“Video In” for iPod? I need to record video onto an iPod from a video camera RCA cables.?
I can buy the parts and make a little adapter if necessary. I basically need an iPod to work like a DVR. Does anyone know how this can be done?
Thanks,
Jake
ps. I know you can buy DVR’s very cheap, but i don’t want a DVR i want the video to record onto my iPod.
As of right now, there is no hack to make this possible, even if you could rig up a connector to accept video in, the ipod OS would need to be hacked in order to accept video recording.

Hi. I really wanted to get the I Am T-Pain app on my iPod, but I need a microphone. I looked at the ones from Apple. One of them is $80, the other is $40. Too expensive for just one app. Plus none of the reviews for the $40 were good.
So I’m wondering where I can buy an external microphone with good quality for a lower price that is compatible for the iPod Touch. Probably $20 or below would be best (But $30 will work, I suppose). And I would prefer it to be from a store, and not somewhere where I can only purchase it online.
If you could help me, then I would love you forever!
I do believe some iPhone Mic Adapters are available at various places (Radioshack, Target,Etc.)
They plug into your iPod/iPhone through the headphone jack and have a mic on the end, where you also plug in ANY kind of headphones, speakers, or any 3.5mm plug output.
Personally I bought my lapel style mic with headphone adapter off of eBay, for $5 with free shipping.
BUT like I heard, you can get them at Target for about $10-15 or so.
P.S.: You can get the “I Am T-Pain” app for FREE if you jailbreak your iPod (if it isn’t already.)
