One thing I found that cause this was charging my iPod via the USB port in the keyboard. I have a MAC, and it was just really convenient to use the USB port there rather than pull the monitor out and connect to the ports in the back.

Then I read that the keybozard USB port doesn’t generate enough juice to charge your iPod properly.

Other than that, the only thing I can think of is that the battery is starting to fade.
